A simple, maybe idealistic, view on beauty that I agree with 100%. If one does not look internally for happiness in their lives, the external will convey ugliness. I also think happiness is pretty subjective and over rated. I do not think being beautiful externally or successful make us happier people (maybe lucky or blessed) but even the most beautiful or successful people can be unhappy or discontent with life. To me, happiness is being grateful no matter one's circumstances. With gratefulness we learn to be content, a mark of true happiness.
I'm grateful for life. For living and breathing. For being able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. For being able to hear my children's laughters. For living through a painful past and not having that past define who I am. For seeking to thrive from my past. I pray that you will define your own happiness and seek contentment.
In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced sa-rome and welcome to my visual thread of art, digital photography and design. I'm excited that you've dropped by! My days consist of the lovely chaos of caring for two little ones (if you have any running around at home, visit my learning corner for free art activities) and my free time is dedicated to creating. grace /grās/: the love and mercy given to us by God not because of anything we have done to earn it.
