These two keep me on my toes, inspire me to play more and often remind me that I'm not a very patient person. They teach me that mistakes are okay and that patient love requires practice. They fill my days with challenges, joys and frustrations. There were times when I've considered Ikea's kids drop off station as a means to escape their noise and energy. On days when I'm full doubt and concern, their lives remind me that I have a God that is bigger than my fears. I'm grateful to be given the opportunity to love them. When we found out that our first child was a boy, my husband and I thought it would be 'cool' to have twins (one boy and one girl). Fast forward about a 1 year and a half later, we were blessed with a girl, and realized that raising twins would've have had a lot more challenges since raising two kids so close apart requires lots of physical stamina and mental power we often lack on tiring days. But no matter how many children or no children in your lives, I often have to remind myself that we are meant to be where we are at and that is good enough. Enjoy your weekend folks.
