I fell more in love with portrait photography after having my son and daughter. Capturing their expression, personality and mood on camera gave me a deep sense of appreciation for being able to freeze a moment in time, a moment I know that will pass by quickly. I grew to respect the mechanics and functionality of every kind of camera (dslr, film, phone) and love the beauty in the diversity of people's faces that I was able to photograph. Therefore, I decided to have some fun in approaching portrait photography with the beautiful little ones in my life. I challenged myself in capturing portraits of children without showing the most important element in the frame, which is the face, while trying to convey my subjects' personality.
