These images were captured last week during a photo walk at The Water Conversation Garden in San Diego, CA. I used one of the floral images for my Project 365 and since I took photographs of many beautiful flowers, I decided to curate a small collection to share from this photo walk. It was such a nice moment to experience alone, kids free, no phone, just my eyes and my camera. Being able to enjoy the beauty God created without interruptions was therapeutic for me since I've been recovering from a few bouts of panic attacks earlier this month. While recovering and trying to slow down has been as challenging as going through the attacks, I'm grateful for creative outlets and learning slowly to trust God. In the middle of a sensory garden, there was a plaque honoring a member that made a positive impact for the garden. The quote below was on her plaque and it reminded me of my struggles with ptsd and healing - that healing requires a lot of patience. I'm still learning. "Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience." -Ralph Waldo Emerson
