Less than a week ago, my kids helped me with my photo project. I wanted to experiment with lighting coming through our living room window. My little guy volunteered to have me photograph him and his best 'buddy,' Leonardo while I was photographing his sister (her image here). If he could take his Ninja Turtle everywhere, he would happily do so. I couldn't resist any photo opportunity taken of my kiddos especially if they are willing. His smiling eyes and hidden smile in this photograph warms my heart because I can still hear his laughter, the many hugs Leo received and the joy he got out of posing Leo for me during our photoshoot. When he reviewed the images, he giggled and said he was so happy. I'm grateful for photography even more knowing I'll have these special moments (behind the camera and through the lens) to remember for a lifetime.
