A few years ago for the new year, I attempted the 365 photo challenge and only made it to May. I wanted to challenge myself and think of fun creative ways to take a photograph. After the third month it was so challenging as life just got busy and I was beginning to lose interest. BUT I loved the idea of committing time to doing what I love and I felt during that challenge that I grew as a photographer. I haven't been able to give a lot of time to photography but for those interested in a photo challenge, check out this prompt. Have fun!

I wanted to post this early in order to give you breathing room during this holiday season to hopefully take part in Operation Christmas Child. Send the simple gift of a shoebox filled with gifts for a child in need this Christmas season. This is a great way to get your children involved and have them live out the true meaning of kindness. Children can track where their gifts end up and even make a new pen pal from across the globe! How fun! I hope that you'll get involved and participate. Visit here for more details to begin or check your local community/church to see if they are already involved to pick up your shoebox and list. The last day to pack a shoebox is November 19. God bless and have a wonderful holiday season.
I'm excited to give you a sneak peek of a fun project that I'm working on as part of my art educational resources (will be available at my TpT shop and my independent shop). The idea is to create printable paper crafts relating to each letter of the alphabet. I hope to provide many resources that will nurture creativity in your students or children and help them to love art. This will be a great supplement to the Letter of the Week Curriculum for preschoolers and kindergarteners.
Here are a few sites that I think are worth exploring. They have helped with my creative work and art business. This is an updated list from 2012. I'll be adding more.
