When I heard these spoken words I knew I wanted to make a typography piece. These words spoke to me as an artist as well as a survivor. It's easy to see the worst of a situation, a painful memory, or hurtful experience. But when I begin to see the dimension and colors of my painful past, I see the beauty in all the chaos. I see the depth of my faith growing from the pain, I see my character shaping into that of someone with perseverance, and I see that my heart is opening more to the sweetness and joy of this world because I'm not allowing the pain to overwhelm it. Days will be hard during this journey of healing but ultimately, there will be beautiful colors to see.
Welcome to my visual thread of art and photography! In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced sa-rome and I'm excited that you've dropped by! My days consist of the lovely chaos of caring for 2 active kids (if you have any running around at home, visit my learning corner for fun art resources) thus any free time is devoted to creating. Read more about me here. Happy Inspirations!
