This is a pencil on paper drawing. Please feel free to post a creative project that you have done.
In helping with leading a support group for young ladies that are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, I decided to approach this group through creative activities to help us work through our healing and recovery. A goal of mine is to share some of my own creative works from our group on this blog, and praying that it will inspire you to do something creative too. The drawing above is my visual interpretation of fear that stems from my past abuses. I find that art and creative works are a great way to work through my hurt. This "Fear Project" taught me that fears do not have to overcome us and that God does not want us to live a life in fear; that He wants to free us from it; we just have to be willing to let go and walk through the fears.
