I love the range in this photograph of my little guy. These type of shots make me feel like I am an observer of the moment, not a photographer but an observer, waiting to see a moment that is worth capturing. When my son ran freely on this long stretch of path, unsure of what he was running to, observing his surrounding and taking everything in that was curious to him, I observed but didn't take a photograph. It was until he stopped and looked at whatever caught his attention that propelled me to lift up my camera and snap. And the thought in my head was to capture "curiosity." The challenge for me was how I would capture it in a photograph? The above picture is the result.
Welcome to my visual thread of art and photography! In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced sa-rome and I'm excited that you've dropped by!
