I love portraiture because there is a part of this style that is magical to me when focusing closely on the eyes. I couldn't help but to create a black and white version of this image. The style of this image is one that I've been experimenting with lately and have grown to love it. Although this is a digital photograph, there's a beautiful film quality that I wanted to portray. The more I play with this style, the more I am hoping to experiment and practice shooting with a film camera. And learning about photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Helen Levitt will be a fun part of this film journey. Happy Clickin.
Welcome to my visual thread of art and photography! In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced sa-rome and I'm excited that you've dropped by! My days consist of the lovely chaos of caring for 2 active kids (if you have any running around at home, visit my learning corner for fun art resources) thus any free time is devoted to creating. Read more about me here. Happy Inspirations!
