Greetings Folks! Time has flown and for me it flies during the holiday season and when entering the New Year. I'm usually a person that won't make resolutions but I have decided to make one for the New Year - to eat more cake! I've entered 2015 with a more simple approach to life - simple being the key word. I find myself gravitating to a minimal lifestyle with not just less stuff but learning to declutter the emotional baggage that comes with life. I'm sure I won't be extreme but so far I like the feeling I get from getting rid of the stuff that I don't really need. In purging these items, I feel like I've added more value to my life by being more focused. In working towards decluttering and living with less stuff, I find that I'm more grateful. I'm guessing it's because I have more time to focus on what matters - family, friends, relationships, passions and Jesus. When I think of Jesus, I think of Him as a minimalist. He lived a simple life on earth but lived a passionate life focused on ministry. His message is simple and beautiful - He died for us because of His love for us. For that, I am deeply grateful. I'm excited about this minimal journey of maximum rewards.
