A watercolor piece titled, "Springs," and it's inspired by a drawing project I worked on about a year ago. Read more about my Defenses Project for a deeper understanding of this piece. The original drawing was inspired by the verse, Proverbs 4:23 and what it means to guard one's heart. During the process of this project I began to really understand the importance of authentically examining our hearts since the issues of our hearts inspire our thoughts and actions; either negatively or positively. It's a lifelong journey of learning, examining our hearts, and trusting God. Socrates eloquently stated, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
Welcome to my visual thread of art and photography! In case you are wondering, my name is pronounced sa-rome and I'm excited that you've dropped by! My days consist of the lovely chaos of caring for 2 active kids (if you have any running around at home, visit my learning corner for fun art resources) thus any free time is devoted to creating. Read more about me here. Happy Inspirations!
